We visited early in the morning to seek out the Motability specialist. The quest to find a sensible measurement for not just the boot/cargo area, but the height of the tailgate or fifth door. To buy a car and have a hoist fitted, I thought it best to check that the door opening is big enough for the chair to pass through. You would have thought that I was the first person to ever ask about this! Still, they were very accommodating let me hobble around with my tape measure. I found the measurements I needed and proved to myself if no one else that I would not be ordering a Kia. As an aside, does anyone know what 452Litres looks like? Crazy standard to adopt. Apart from the Top Trump game, nobody I know can use this figure.
